Congregants participate in all aspects of the service including leading services as shlichei tzibbur, reading Torah, chanting haftarah, providing a prayer or Torah commentary, and delivering a d'var Torah. We are fortunate to have a wealth of talented individuals who volunteer to lead us in prayer and who provide thoughtful commentaries. Many of Kol Shalom's young people as well as the adult members of the community take part. The participatory nature of our service creates an informal and spirited atmosphere, which gives us a true sense of community. We invite members and non-members to daven with us any Shabbat morning.
