Sisterhood has formed a committee to help those in our Kol Shalom community in need of assistance. All men and women in the congregation are welcome to participate. We now provide visits, phone calls, rides and meals to those who are ill and recovering. For more information, to sign up, or to inform us of those needing our help call or e-mail:

Although
the can openers didn't work that evening, the residents enjoyed a hearty meal
which included meatloaf, tuna/cheese/rice/broccoli casserole, tossed salad,
orzo, couscous and assorted beverages. The volunteer caterers were; Michael
Lazar, Ziva Rubin, Steve Schwartz, Mary Lou and Gary Metz and Nancy Goldstein,
the newest member of our reliable and generous team. Every
month, on the first Monday, year round, we provide a home cooked dinner for the
thirty homeless women who are staying at the shelter, which is located on
