Family Fall Fun (zoom games, songs, story)
Sunday, November 1, 4:30pm
Sally and Mindy will host this program geared for children, parents and grandparents. Using the technology on zoom, we’ll play interactive fall-related games, tell a story and sing Hebrew and English songs.
Havdalah Pajama (Havdalah zoom craft, songs, story)
Saturday, December 5, 5:30 pm
Sally, Mindy and Rabbi Gil will host this program for children, parents and grandparents. Children will make a Havdalah-related craft while on zoom ( we will let you know ahead of time which materials to have on hand), learn about the significance of this tradition and then together we’ll sing the Havdalah blessings as we say goodbye to Shabbat and welcome a new week. Pajama attire!
Congregational Chanukah Menorah lighting and Singalong (multi-generational)
Sunday, December 13, 4:30pm
As a congregation, we will celebrate the fourth night of Chanukah, each family lighting their own Chanukiah on their zoom screen. Rabbi Gil will share a Chanukah teaching and Sally will lead a Chanukah zoom singalong. (lyrics will be sent ahead of time) Bring your own latkes or sufganiyot!
KSTT/STRS Tu B’shvat Seder
Sunday, January 24, 4:30 pm
Sally and Mindy will host a one-of-a-kind virtual seder for Tu B’shvat for the students in KSTT/STRS. As we prepare to celebrate this New Year of the Trees, students will receive the list of fruits to gather ahead of time and a special Haggadah so all can participate in readings, blessings and songs. Together we will learn the significance of Tu B’shvat today, reminding us about caring for our environment and being grateful for the gifts of our planet.
