Tefilah, Jewish prayer, can be so meaningful and even transformative when we understand and bring intention to the words that we pray. Come explore the meaning and intentions of Shabbat prayers to gain a deeper understanding of how they connect us with God, with tradition, and with each other. We will look at prayers such as the Shema, the Amida, the Ashrei, Adon Olam, and Kabbalat Shabbat.
