B’Emtza: Jewish Yoga at Kol Shalom

May 7, 2021
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Explore the Spring Jewish Holidays through yoga! Join Ela Ohl (Rabbi Steinlauf’s daughter) in connecting mind, body, and spirituality to foundational intentions found in Tu B’Shevat, Purim, Pesach, and Shavuot.

No experience or study required. Classes will take place on Zoom, please wear comfortable clothing. A yoga mat is recommended, but a towel can act as a comfortable replacement.

Ela completed her 200hr teacher training from the Yoga and Ayurveda Center, via Stephanie Mitchell. She is also a certified chair yoga instructor from Stephanie Mitchell and Mary Beth Sewald as well as a restorative yoga teacher and an ayurvedic specialist from Stephanie Mitchell.

Ela focuses on authenticity and mind/body connection, encouraging her students to listen closely to their bodies and to let themselves have fun. Every day is different, and it’s imperative that we meet our bodies where they’re at.

Health and wellness have always been major players in Ela’s story, and after learning from her own health journey, it has become her mission to be a support and a guide for others who are looking for holistic growth.
