Kol Shalom will be observing Good Deed’s Week from April 12 -19. The theme this year is Food Insecurity, which has been a key project of Kol Shalom’s Kol Tzedekah Task Force.
We are offering you three ways to participate in meeting the challenges of food insecurity in Maryland and Montgomery County:
Join us for our Food Insecurity Forum, April 13th, hosted by Kol Shalom that will welcome Delegate for District 16, Marc Korman; Michael J. Wilson, Director, Maryland Hunger Solutions; and Susan Kornacki, Interim Food Security Program Manager, Montgomery County Food Council. Kol Shalom member, Steve Mandel will moderate.
Be an Advocate: An advocacy activity related to anti-hunger bills considered in the Maryland legislative session
Donate food: A Manna food drive.
