Book Discussion: Zealot 
In Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth, author Reza Aslan attempts to differentiate the “historical” Jesus from the religious figure created after his death. The book illumines the religious politics of 1st century Judea and makes it clear that Jesus and his early followers constituted a movement by Jews and directed at Jews. Discussions are informal and all readers are welcome whenever they can participate.
