Women’s Rosh Chodesh Group

October 26, 2022
7:30 pm - 8:45 pm

The Women’s Rosh Chodesh Group will gather together to welcome Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan on Wednesday, October 26 at 7:30pm at Kol Shalom, or on zoom. This year marks the 2 nd  year of the Women’s Rosh Chodesh Group. The purpose of the group is to give women of Kol Shalom the opportunity to connect, learn and socialize in a welcoming, warm environment as we bring in a new Jewish month.    Each time we celebrate a new moon, it’s a reminder of hope, renewal, goodness, and blessings for the month to come.  We are also reminded to prepare for the holiday occurring that month.  For the upcoming year, we will explore essays and poems pertinent to Jewish women, discuss topics around meaningful, wise aging (at any age), have a look at exemplary Jewish women, and more. We may also consider doing a museum field trip.

Dates for this year’s Wednesday evening WRCG meetings:
10/26/22, 11/30/22,  1/4/23,  1/25/23,  2/22/23,  3/22/23,  4/26/23,  5/24/23,  6/21/23

Now that we will be in person, we envision a more informal setting, enabling us to learn about one another and socialize.
