Kol Shalom Book Discussion:
The Last Kabbalist of Lisbon
Kol Shalom’s book group will turn to an historical novel set in early 16th century Portugal: The Last Kabbalist of Lisbon, by Richard Zimler. The book is a murder mystery that plays out against the Spanish Inquisition and all of its pressures brought to bear on the Jewish community. All readers are welcome whenever they can participate.
