Antisemitism, You and Your Neighbor: The State of Antisemitism in America 2020

December 27, 2020
10:00 am - 11:00 am

Would it surprise you to learn that only 43% of the American public believes antisemitism is rising despite Charlottesville, Pittsburgh, Poway, and the streets of Brooklyn?  What does the general public know about antisemitism and do they think saying things like all “American Jews are most loyal to Israel” is antisemitic?  The challenges of antisemitism confront all of us.  Join us for a robust discussion of the American Jewish Committee’s recently released 2020 Report on Antisemitism, a comprehensive study that looks at attitudes and experiences of antisemitism among Jews and the general public. Kol Shalom Member and Chair of the Regional AJC Task Force on Antisemitism, Susan Stolov Weiss and Alan Ronkin, Director of AJC Washington will lead a thought-provoking discussion about where we are now, where we need to go and how we will get there.
