The Galveston Movement, helped divert Jews fleeing the pogroms of Russia and Eastern Europe in the early 1900s away from the congested communities of the U.S. Atlantic Coast.

November 25, 2025 @ 7:30 pm – For our next Rosh Chodesh gathering we will welcome the month of Kislev, the month of light, with an art activity led by Barbara Mandel. We will design our own hamsas (hands of Miriam used as a defense against the evil eye) using brush pens.
