In June 2025, Kol Shalom joined the Route 28 Interfaith Team. Route 28 Interfaith Team is a collection of churches and synagogues located along MD Route 28 (Darnestown Road). The Montgomery County Interfaith 5K
The Rt 28 Interfaith team had a lovely time at the MoCo Friendship Picnic on Sunday. The group organized a game that helped attendees at the picnic make introductions and have one-on-one conversations. Sue Stolov represented the Montgomery County Committee Against Hate/Violence.
